Apple pie

Ingredients

  • Apples - 1,5kg
  • Seasoning MANTRA "For apple pie" - 1 tbsp
  • Flour - 1 cup
  • Baking powder - 1 tsp
  • Sugar - 1 cup
  • Lemon juice - 2 tbsp
  • Frozen butter - 110g

Method of preparation

  1. Take the butter from the freezer and grate on a coarse grater.
  2. Pour the flour into a bowl and add baking powder.
  3. Add the sugar to the flour and stir. 
  4. Knead the flour mixture with butter.  
  5. Put the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. 
  6. Peel the apples, remove the seeds and cut into small cubes. Drizzle the apples with lemon juice. 
  7. Add "Apple Pie Blend" from MANTRA to the apples and stir. 
  8. Heat a thick-bottomed skillet, add some butter and pour out the apples.  
  9. Simmer the apples for about 15 minutes over medium heat.  
  10. Grease the pan with oil, lay out the apples and top the dough.  
  11. Bake at 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes until the dough is ready.  
  12. Serve hot.
