Bean soup with smoked meat

  • Smoked meat (smoked ribs, loin or brisket, etc.) - 300-500 g,
  • Beans in tomato sauce - 1 can,
  • Potatoes - 4 pcs.,
  • Carrots - 1 pc.,
  • Onions - 1 pc.,
  • Bulgarian pepper - 1-2 pcs.,
  • All Spice World (ASW) seasoning “Adjika” 
  • Greens,
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Tomato paste - 2-3 tbsp. spoons

Method of preparation

To cook the broth from smoked meats - put the smoked meat in water, remove the foam after boiling and cook for 10 minutes.

Cut potatoes into cubes or strips. Dice bell pepper.

Finely chop the onion and greens. 

Grate the carrot on a coarse grater or cut into cubes.

Sauté onion and carrots in vegetable oil.

Add potatoes and bell pepper to the broth

When the potatoes become soft, add the sautéed carrots with onions and beans in the tomato sauce (along with the sauce from the can) to the soup.

Add tomato paste or ketchup to taste, salt and pepper. A minute before end of cooking, add greens and seasoning “Adjika”.
